My
Dogs are my Life |
Already in childhood, I dreamed of someday owning both a white and a black poodle. Back then everyone in the village knew that I was always ready to jump in as a babysitter for dogs or to take them for walks. Years later, before the birth of my first daughter, I acquired my first poodle „Susi“, followed shortly thereafter by a second one, named „Lobelia“. Both were black. They were companion dogs, members of the family. And from then on, there were always two poodles living with us. After Susi’s death my third poodle („Tela“) joined us. Later came „Giggo“, also a black poodle. Nevertheless, I was occasionally attracted to other breeds as well, and I brought a coton de tulear female („Anouchka“) into our home. It was with Anouchka that I was able to make my first experiences and successes in the show ring. On February 14, 1989 Anouchka gave birth to her first and only litter. From her five puppies I kept Ajoscha. She proved to be born for the show ring, and I won many shows with her. Ajoscha became a multi-champion and excelled at Agility as well. At the shows, I made the acquaintance of the Löwchen and fell in love with this breed. „Junior“ joined the family. I took part in many shows with him. He loved the ring and won many championships. After
my beloved Giggo died I had no more poodles at all. In 1999, I began my
training as a groomer and worked for nearly 3 years in a grooming salon.
I wanted to make my hobby my profession. I had the good fortune to work
in the salon of my friend of many years, a well-known breeder of poodles
world-wide. There under her direction and supervision, I was able to practise
and to master various poodle clips. Working with her makes me still a
lot of fun Some years later, I moved to a wonderful, old farmhouse and began my career as a breeder. Poodles had never left my heart, and I acquired a white toy poodle („Talifa“) from my friend, the poodle breeder.
Today I live in the farmhouse, which is located in a village not far from the Lake of Constance, and I breed Löwchen and poodles with love and with all my heart. The

Quality, not quantity are my goals in breeding. I strive Quality, not quantity are my goals in breeding. I strive to give well-socialised and environmentally-experienced puppies into the next carefully-chosen hands. Health and temperament are my highest priorities. My puppies grow up together with my other dogs in the house and the garden. They are patiently introduced to riding in a car, visits to the kindergarden, leash-training and so on. The puppies are correctly nourished, wormed, microchipped and vaccinated, and each has a pedigree registered with the SKG/FCI.
